SUMMARY:Abbotsford Leadership Forum with Carissa Reiniger
DESCRIPTION:Silver Lining Ltd. Founder and President Carissa Reiniger is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs make money doing what they love. She has the experience to back up her passion - by the age of 25 she was one of the youngest women in Canada running a business that generated over a million dollars in annual revenue. Despite the success and exponential growth of her business, Carissa realized she was burnt out, didn’t love her “job” anymore and didn’t have a profitable or scalable business model. To counter this she initiated a company wide downsizing, and within months creativity was back and things were rolling. Since then Carissa has written two books, “Inspiring Entrepreneurs: How to Build Your Business to Its First Million ” and “I Will”. She has also initiated a partnership with companies like Staples, Rogers, HP, Westjet, UPS, Citi, and the National Post to start The Coalition Committed to Growing Small Business. In true entrepreneurial fashion, Carissa also owns a second company. Stories From Our Black Books has 2 books released under it, a play that has toured Canada, and a documentary in the works. Carissa’s faith is foundational to her aspiration to make a difference and leave a legacy, and she believes that persons of faith should respond to the needs evident in their communities and around the world. Carissa practices what she preaches, and serves as Co-Chair of Nikibasika Children’s Development Project in Uganda and other boards and committees. Carissa is convinced that “successful entrepreneurs develop patterns that lead to success”. She will share with us how she built Silver Lining from a concept to an international company and the lessons she learned about business and leadership along the way. You will be challenged by Carissa’s commitment to “Build a Life” while you “Build a Business”. Download Event PDF Contact info: Esther DeWolde 604.855.3654
