Partnering with John Maxwell in Winnipeg

On September 26th, the LIG Winnipeg City Team acted as co-host for the John Maxwell Leadership Training Event which was held at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. With the support of generous LIG Partners from across Manitoba, LIG was able to sponsor a special bonus session providing John the opportunity to share his personal faith story.

Our LIG Winnipeg City Chair, Eric Wiens (VP Stantec Engineering) and another member of our LIG City Team, Els Fenton (Station Manager at CHVN), attended the full day event. Els did a terrific job as emcee for this event. Both Eric and Els were invited to a private lunch with John, together with other Platinum Sponsors, where they had a chance to interact and take photos with John.

This was an amazing opportunity to “open the funnel” as Els took the opportunity to introduce LIG to an audience of over 700 business leaders in attendance.
