Learning Leadership in Calgary

We just had an amazing LIG DG Forum breakfast with Jeff Lehrmann, CEO of Chevron Canada. Local sports chaplain, Rodd Sawatzky, interviewed Jeff with poignant and insightful questions on leadership, family, and faith. Jeff shared some powerful points on being a learning leader, doing things right, living by Godly values.

Thank you for the many LIG DG members who came and invited their friends and coworkers this morning. I can’t think of too many other ways that you can significantly spiritually impact people in a relevant way like we did today. We had 16 new people sign up to get into a Discovery Group! Here is a quote from one of the attendees:

“Thank you, Bruce, for the invitation to the LeaderImpact breakfast. It truly did have an impact on me – both personally and professionally. I have recently returned to worshipping regularly at a new church, and becoming involved in the Worship Committee, where I can use the gifts given to me. This week, I am also in the process of rewriting the CFS Leadership Attributes and Values workshop for all associates, so this morning’s talk was relevant and impactful.

I shall be in touch with Tibor about getting more involved in a study group.

Thank you for the opportunity to be involved, and find ways to ‘marry’ my personal and professional lives in a meaningful way.”

Tibor ‘Tibi’ Ribi is Area Manager for LeaderImpact Group in Alberta.
